Michael Smallbone, Attorney at Law
Michael Smallbone is a licensed attorney with over a decade of experience in all aspects of immigration law. As a naturalized US citizen, Michael personally understands the frustration and anxiety associated with immigrating to the United States, and has years of first-hand experience jumping through the hoops. Born and raised in the Gold Coast region of Australia, Michael came to the United States to work in talent management. He served as Vice President at Premiere Speakers Bureau while navigating his own immigration maze, and recognized a desperate need for honest, reliable representation for Middle Tennessee’s immigrant community. He’s dedicated his career to the field of immigration law, bringing to his practice the strength, knowledge, and experience that makes a difference in his client’s cases.
Michael is an Adjunct Professor at Nashville School of Law, where he teaches Immigration Law. He earned his undergraduate degree from Griffith University in Southeast Queensland, Australia in 2000. Before and during law school, Michael worked as a Paralegal for an immigration firm in Nashville, learning the ropes from the ground up.

Natalie Hensley, Paralegal
Tessa Morgan, Paralegal
Tessa Morgan is a paralegal with the unique ability to balance detailed legal work with superior client services. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University’s Econometrics program, Tessa spent her early career working with children and medical patients allowing her to hone her ability to communicate with a variety of people while
relaying complicated information in an understandable manner. As a paralegal at First Class Immigration, Tessa
handles research, legal preparations, billing, and client communication for over thirty cases simultaneously. She
routinely works with government representatives to solve case-related issues for the firm and ensures that every
client is continuously informed of their progress. When she is not working, Tessa enjoys playing guitar and writing.
She also regularly volunteers for the Williamson County Democratic Party.
Kristy List, Paralegal
Kristy is a skilled Paralegal whose unique qualifications make her an expert at entertainment visas. Originally from Adelaide, South Australia, Kristy graduated from Swinburne University in 2014 with a double degree in Law and Marketing and received the Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence for outstanding commitment to her studies. An EB-1 visa holder herself since 2016, Kristy understands the process from the inside out and offers a valuable perspective to clients and coworkers alike. Performing under her maiden name, Kristy Cox, she is a two-time Golden Guitar Award-winning bluegrass musician whose most recent album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart. Her musical talent has taken her to some of the most iconic stages in the world, including Nashville’s CMA Fest and the Tamworth Country Music Festival. When not compiling cases or writing hit songs, Kristy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, Adelaide and Ryman.
Rose Sam, Paralegal
Rose is a Paralegal with more than 10 years of experience working with attorneys since 2008. Prior to her current role, she worked as an Office Manager at a small firm in Philadelphia which specialized in legal auditing for multiple insurance companies. She left the firm in 2010 to work for a large publicly traded company in Marlton, NJ as an Account Administrator and oversaw thousands of law firm’s hourly rates. Addition to her role as the Account Administrator, she single-handedly assisted in two acquisitions at the company and took on the project to move several attorneys to a new space. She is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and moved to Murfreesboro with her family in 2014. She attended Philadelphia Community College and then graduated from Kaplan College in 2016 where she obtained her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. Shortly after graduating at the top of her class, she landed a job at a civil litigation firm where she worked directly under the Senior Managing Attorney as well as the Associate. Rose is planning on going back to school to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in the fall of 2020. She is recently married and is a mother of two girls ages 7 and 9. On her free time she enjoys hosting dinner parties and binge watching Netflix shows.
Kylie Dailey, Billing Manager
Kylie oversees and streamlines billing and bookkeeping for First Class Immigration. With a 9-year background in administrative roles, Kylie has a wealth of experience in billing, contracting, and client management. In
addition to her role at First Class Immigration, she also serves as Vice President of Operations for Westfall
Speakers and Managing Director for First Class Talent. Kylie has a passion for music and enjoys writing and
singing in her free time. She lives in Nashville with her husband and two kids.
